  4. Re: Milky white oil/water in one cylinder of my '73 65hp

I’m no mechanic but when I was getting water in my cylinder, my water pump was faulty. That’s the only way water gets into the anything. I’d go there and work your way up.
    My waterpump had a...

  10. Re: Milky white oil/water in one cylinder of my '73 65hp

I don’t think there is anyway to get what’s in there out. Only way I can think of is burning it out but if it won’t start that could be problematic. Try soaking up as much as possible with a rag and...

    Re: Fuel pump problem

Sounds like a faulty fuel pump. If you say it empties the bowls and they don’t fill again. That would indicate fuel being put into the carb bowls but not consistently meaning the pump isn’t pumping. ...

  20. Re: 78 115hp Evinrude forward gear and prop shaft stuck

Mall of this is done except I can’t yank out the prop shaft. It seems like it’s “bolted in “ somewhere. I’ve even tried hooking up a wrench to the prop
shadt and hitting it with a hammer. No luck.
