    Put the tins back together this morning. I found one thin spot in the paint that I'll have to touch up later. I have to wait a week before I put the new decals on it. It's going to look sharp.

    I ordered almost every part available for the motor for Larson's - coils, points, condensers, throttle cable, and carb rebuild kit. I also put new paint on the tins. I used rustoleum enamel...

    Which manual should I get for the motor? Is there a free download of one? Hopefully a repair manual.

    I also did one cycle of seafoam to clean some of the carbon out. I don't think it's ever been done on this engine. It smoked a ton. I was using midgrade gas with mercury quicksilver two stroke...

    Me too! I told him to smash one end of electrical conduit, drill a couple of holes, and steal his kids handlebar grip. Good to go!....for now.

    Tested the float today- worked perfect. The engine went back to its owner today too. Time to find a new project.

    I pulled the float out of the carb. I placed it by a shop light for 24hrs to dry it out really good. I dunked it in the pictures airplane dope, baked it under the lamp, and repeated. It floats...

    Throttling down. If anything, it's getting too much fuel. I'm running it on the very rich side - hence the little bit of shaking.
