    Biggest problem with these coils is overtightening and improper placement of grounding washer. Overtightening breaks the powdered core internally and cause weird symtoms including double firing.

    Get a gun cleaning kit for shotgun. Use the 20 guage brass brush and clean spline best as possible..

    It will measure the water temp in and around cylinders/head, expect to see variations in temps due the dual purpose t-stat/poppet.

    Merc did not give out information other than how to test adapter. I highly doubt there is a problem and the spikes your are seeing are most likely from the N-S magnet field passing each individual...

    Was replacement VRO/OMS an OEM or cheap knock off??? Was vapor separator cleaned? These block due to the way they are made can leak at the glue seams allowing water to enter block but more profound...

    Temporally bypass the demand valve or on a separate tank and retest....dont see how a no fuel issue gives a TPS fault as it is just a position sensor

    You may see spikes due to regulator driving excessive voltage to ground. The stator has a battery charging winding(yellow wire) and a ignition winding (grn/grn-wht).
