Chrysler 318 starboard manifold hot

Hi guys, just got an old '64 Lyman with a Chrysler 318. Runs great except it heats up on the starboard side, and stays cool on port. Water hoses are pumping lots of water but the exhaust on starboard is not. The only off thing to me seems to be the top of the oil cooler is flowing against another water hose. Any ideas?

This is a Chrysler "outboard" forum.
There is an inboard forum.

But I will try.

Sounds like the riser/manifold is clogged and restricting the flow.

In the water?? the pickup could be partially clogged?

Hook a water hose to the pickup hose, turn it on full blast.
Then pinch off the water to the good manifold.

It should flow in as much as the hose can supply.

Or take the hose off the riser and see if the end is clogged??
