"El P, you were dead on right. I installed the electrinic ignition system over the weekend. It fires right up and idles even when cold. HUGE difference from the cold blooded, hard starting I used to have to deal with....
If anyone out there is still on the fence about installing the electronic ignition... please take my advice and do it. It's pretty easy to install and it really makes a difference! I also installed the flame thrower coil. I'm not sure that was worth the $40 bucks extra or not but I wanted the whole system to be new.

I still need to put some new spark plugs in her. El P, should I use the factory recommended plugs or do you have a different plug you would recommend for the new EI system?
