I have a 70hp that came on a boat I bought. I was told that everything was 2000. my problem is the model tags are unreadable. Is there anyway t9 find out the model year for ordering parts.

its been painted i found a date 7/14/1999 printed on the flywheel

I guess this engine is a 2000 is there anyway to find a model number
