After inspecting why my engine just died I found there was no current going to the fuel pump which is controlled by the computer. I hooked a 12v source directly to the pump and it worked. Can i hook a outside 12v source directly to the pump via toggle switch or other and bypass the computer? would there be any adverse effects on the engine?
