100999s evinrude outboard

I'm new at this;
I have a 1982 Boston whaler with a 100 horse evinrude. All four coils were hot, one coil melted the spark plug connection off the coil ? I do have perfect voltage coming from a duel battery supply.. could it be the increase of cranking amps between the duel battery setup?

A 1979 model.----But 12 volts from the battery have nothing to do with the coils to make spark !----Perhaps someone has changed wires on it for some strange reason ?-------Have you replaced impeller ?----Tested overheat horn ?-----Post compression test results, the actual values.----Evaluate this motor before spending $$$$ on it.
