Timing wheel stuck

You will need a puller (3 point) to remove the flywheel. The key is keeping the plate level as possible otherwise it binds and a lot of people break them. Get ur favorite penetrating oil and spray generous amount, let it work like overnight and hit it again...don't rinse, just repeat til it pops or breaks.
 
Kroil it and let it soak, the rock gently CW/CCW while applying upward pressure. The brass oxidizes to the crank nub. Make sure you clean everything when you reassemble as oil throw off can blind the optical sensor

Thanks fazbullet! I did all of that and still no joy. I ended up cutting it off with a dremmel. The good news is no collateral damage.
