We all know every year that BIG brother gets his fair share of our money for owning a boat by us buying our boat tags. I`m just curious how many of you put the new tags right over the old one or do you take a little extra time to remove the old tag. I bought a 88 Stratos from a guy about 9 yrs ago which it was in great shape but to my amazement the tags were layered over each other and rather thick on the side of the boat. Not sure if they were all there, but in 2015 when I bought the boat, that would be 27yrs of tags. Maybe that`s why they were so thick on the boat when I removed them all. Just curious how others did their tags.
