    Removing and adjusting float for m40c carb

    Old carb had float valve not seating and was worn. Got a new carb and it's running rich. Can't keep it at idle, smoky at any rpm. How do you adjust the float? Also, how do you remove the float? There is a pin going through it, but it doesn't seem to budge. Thanks. Dan
