    Engine ID STRUGGLE!!!

    I've been trying to figure out exactly which engine is in my boat. The serial# spreads make no sense. I stood on my head down in there and the number is F306805 on the tag. Is it a 305? Is it a 350? I'd show a picture of it but I can't get it to upload?????

    New to me 95 Alpha 1 Prep

    V8 alpha 1 Merc with 500 hours on the clock. PO says a 350 GM small block but I have yet to verify the numbers. The PO says it has a slight leak letting water in out back that I need to address.
