    Mercontrol problems

    I have a 1975 50 hp merc and mercontrol. I changed the cables and am having trouble with keeping the pin for the neutral position in place when reassembling the mercontrol unit. Any advise or maybe some pics of the assembly would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks Uncle Paul

    Throttle won’t stay in position

    1975 50 hp. I had the mercontrol apart to lube cables. Now everything is working fine except now when I set the throttle at full or even 3/4 it won’t stay......it just creeps back. Any help would be appreciated!

    1975 50hp throttle cable adjustment

    With the Mercontrol in neutral how do I tell looking at the engine when the throttle is in idle position. I do not have the old cable and I’m trying adjust the new cable but I’m not sure where my idle position is for the throttle. As the throttle changes I see the dis. Turning but not sure...
