I checked high pressure side and it took 15 seconds to get to 22lbs. where it shuts off automatically when you just turn the key on. Seems really slow to me.     Yamaha 250 will not rev past 4000

    I have a Yamaha 250 ox66. I got it from a rebuilder. It will start and idle all day long. You put it in gear and give it the gas and it will go to 4000 rpm then drop to 3000 then drop to 1500. Then if you unplug the knock sensor it will hold 4000 all day without dropping but will not go over...

    470 Mercruiser closed cooling system leak

    I have a Mercruiser 470 with a closed cooling system. I went to fill it with anti freeze and it runs right out the exhaust on the out drive. I am guessing it has a hole in the heat exchanger. I run only in fresh water. Can you by pass that, and not run the closed system and just use the water...
