Had been out about 2 hours and was trolling. I was diagnosing why my MFD was cutting out. Pulled it out and happen to have my hands inside of the console and touched the can of one of the two RPM gauges located directly below the MFD. It was quite hot. Then I touched the other RPM can...
Thinking maybe my flush process leaves some water in the engine that could lead to oxidation. Advice appreciated.
current process.
dock, leave engines running.
connct hose to saltaway connector, connect "y" hose to salt away.
Turn off engines
connect "y" hoses to engines' hose connectors...
Thought I'd post my experience and ask for comments to see if I diagnosed and fixed this correctly.
