    3.5hp dies at higher speeds when low fuel in tank

    On my last outing a couple of days ago, my 3.5hp ran for a bit at high speed (3/4 throttle) for a while but then started to die. I checked the tank and found it to be 1/5 full. It could run at idle or just above idle but would die when throttled up. (The carb was recently cleaned/rebuilt.)...

    Ok to reinstall lower unit with motor upside down?

    I'm having a hell of a time reinstalling the lower units of both my 2014 Mercury 6hp and 3.5hp – both are 4 strokes. I've read alot about having things aligned, etc. I can't seem to get it in the last 2 inches. I've tried maybe 60 times and I thought for sure I'd get lucky at some point...
