When I was 13 my dad had an old rototiller that quit working. I went to the library and checked out a book on small engine repair and took the motor apart, repaired it, and put it back together. It was extremely exciting to hear it run again. I have been repairing engines ever since. I got into outboard motors several years ago, when the old reliable Evinrude 15 hp needed some work. I find outboard motors to be fascinating and fun to work on and operate. I work as a Chief Financial Officer during the day and play around with outboard motors as a hobby. I have worked on many different makes and models, especially under 20 hp range. I have ventured into the 40, 50, 115, and 150 hp models a handful of times. I spend my summer on the lake fishing for large lake trout. My largest lake trout so far is 26 pounds. I feel alive on the lake!
