    Screw thread size for fuel pump filter cap

    I just ordered a new fuel pump for a 1997 50 hp Johnson. They had all the parts except the screw that holds the filter cap on. Does anyone know the screw and thread size? 10-32?, 1/4-20? 8-32? etc,etc? thanks.

    Can I run 50:1 mix instead of using the oil injection

    I have a 1997 50HP Johnson Model J50TLEUC that has the oil injection system. I was told to run 50:1 mix till the oil pump primes. I just don't trust the system. So I can I plug up the oil inlet line and just run mix all the time?

    Hi; My 75 1960 hp has no spark. I have cleaned the points and checked the P lead for grounding out. Its just not producing a spark. Setting the points or changing the condensor looks like its not going to be very easy. I don't have a service manual so I have no idea what the cylinder...

    Montgomery Ward Sea King 1973 5 HP Clinton K500

    "I just picked this sweet old motor up at a yard sale. I think it was made in 1973. The full model # is K500 3108c. Type XTV 52250, serial # 1051885. Could someone tell me the proper fuel mix? The owner said 40:1. But I think he is refering to the new motors and synthetic mixes. Should it be 20:1?"
