    1995 Force Trim Sender unit

    sorry this is for a 1996 Force 75 HP engine----does anyone know of a universal fit trim sender unit. The 1996 Force 75 HP has tilt and trim, just no trim sender for a trim gauge, brother insist the boat must have a trim gauge. Can I add one to this motor, or does Mercury offer a retro-fit etc...

    1996 Force 75 HP Hard Steering

    I also wanted to add, I purchased this motor as a replacement for my bad motor. So I got it in "no so good" condition and working to give it a second life. Still a little ways to go, ,but think it looks / runs / steers much better than when first received.

    Looking for motor temp sender device. Tested mine by shorting to engine ground and turn on switch, no alarm went off. Per the manual this is the test procedure. Please advise if I am doing it wrong and if you know where i may purchase a replace sender unit,, can't find one. again thanks in...

    with the steering rod removed, the motor is very hard to move. "takes 2 hands to move" (Steering wheel and rod move freely).
