    "Hi,I have a 1987 4.3liter mer "Hi,I have a 1987 4.3liter mercruiser v6 rated at 175hp.with a bad block.I also have a 1990 4.3 short block that the man said was rated at 205hp.Are the blocks(and heads)the same and the difference is in the carbs.and manifolds?Thanks"

    I have a 20hp evinrude model n I have a 20hp evinrude model no.E20CRCE.How can you tell if it is a long or short shaft ob.Can you tell from the model no. or do you have to measure between two points.Thanks
