    I was thinking this could cause the sneezing issue along with the leak of fuel out the front of the carburetor. If the leafs aren’t adjusted right they may not be fully holding their check valve purpose.

    Thanks for the quick reply! I can confirm it is running on both cylinders. I’ll double check the float and clean out the carb and jets when I pull it to change out the reed plate. Could possibly be a slightly clogged jet, especially because it took me a couple months to finish the swap...

    1977 johnson 25 hp need help!!!

    I have a 1978 25hp evinrude and had a very similar issue once I replaced the power pack on my engine. For whatever reason the timing was going to opposite cylinders and was causing a very similar symptom. Once I swapped the ignition coils around the engine ran great. Might be worth a shot.
