    Bought this for the outdrive,motor starts right up and Then I turn it off there was water in the oil prior that was drained!Fresh or the best you can get with an engine that had water in it without flushing it.. They thought as did I at first it had a cracked block I saw nothing external cracks...

    Evinrude model 5522 5.5hp running problem??

    Took the lower off to reseal and clean water passages,put back together now it will only run at full throttle,throttle it I back down right away it shuts off...Turn throttle to full pull start runs again this is driving me nut it is late though any ideas guys thank alot..:eek:
