    What is the 'trick' to pulling a coil off its post? I've tried a small two prong puller, but no success.

    I have a 1955 or 56 Elgin with the 5-7.5-12hp selector 'switch'. I am missing the key, does anyone know where to find them, or does someone have one that they can make a copy? Thanks.

    I have a 1971 7.5hp Merc. I can only get it started when it is in gear so that it will throttle past the start position.     Merc Mark 6A

    Recently purchased 1959 Mark 6A. Has a few problems, the steering/throttle handle assembly is froze. The gears inside the cowl that move carb and magneto move freely. Also, the cable shift assembly in the lower unit is froze. Would appreciate any suggestions.
