    Thanks for the reply. Pics attached. I thought I've done what you suggested yet both shafts are not coming out. The bearing carrier on prop shaft, does that unscrew some how or do I just pull it out?

    Exactly, I have removed the lower unit. But I cannot remove the drive shaft or the propeller shaft. I am interested in a tool that can pull shafts out of housing. I believe the gears are meshed together.

    I have removed the lower unit from the motor however I cannot remove the drive shaft or the propeller shaft. I believe the gears are messed in forward. There was no oil in lower unit and I believe gears meshed tight. Is there a tool that can be used to pull the shafts out of housing?
