    1964 mercury 6hp mod 60 twin ,water in exhaust port directly under motor

    I am trying to revive a 1964 mercury 6hp ,mod 60 twin . I am getting water in the exhaust port that is under the back of the motor. Is this usual or is it an indication of something wrong , and what to do.
