    Re: Point Settings The tapping of the key pushed down on the spring enough to be able to set the points. The key did move quite a bit and now is setting on the cam. Is the key supposed to be perpendicular to the crank? If so, mine is not any longer. I have tried to attached a pic. Thank you.

    More info on earlier thread.. I am having trouble getting motor started cold. Was gonna pull the flywheel....but....one of the three threads on the flywheel is stripped. Any ideas?
