    Starting procedure - user manual

    Turn the upper knob( low speed) all the way in till it just stops. Then turn it out 2full turns. The lower knob( high speed) do the same but only turn it out about 3/4 of a turn. That should get the motor running and you can adjust as needed from there. Good luck

    Oil leaking

    My 25HP Gale 22DE17BL has black oil running down the side of the engine case after running. The oil seeps from around the exhaust bolts on the exhaust housing. I don't see any leaks around the power head or exhaust gasket. Do you think it could be the lower crank seal is bad? Thanks.

    I have a 1960 25 HP Gale that has oil leaking out of the water pick up cover. Does anyone know the number of the lower unit seal kit for this motor? Thanks in advance.
