    planing my boat

    i have a 9.9 evinrude on my 14 flatbottom fiberglass boat. my boat tends to lean more toward the stern when i have it on speed. if it makes any sense, i have the motor in its second notch from the clamp assembly .... tilting the motor out a notch, will it in essence plane the boat level ? i hope...

    prime transom live well pump

    is there a way that i can self prime my thru transom pump ? my livewell inlet is higher than my transom pump and at times it gets air locked my solution, currently is to remove the hose going into the sprayer and prime it with some water. anyone know how i can self prime it ? thanks

    i have a evinrude 9.9 4 stroke outboard someone told me that regular gas octane will damage the injectors and that i should run a very high octane gasoline,or racing fuel. any truth to that ?

    winterizing my outboard

    a first time gas outboard gas user and first time winterizing it i understand the fogger, and replace the lower unit fluid what about removing any water from the engine. do i worry about that ? or do i inject air into the water intake ?

    can anyone tell me the material used on my 2000 evinrude? i assume it's fiberglass. is it fiberglass layied over aluminum ? thanks
