    1970s Mercury 110 - 9.8 - Prop Shaft Thread

    Hi - Had to wrestle with a puller to get a prop off a 110 Series (9.8 hp). Would really like to go over the threads with a die, there was sadly a bit of damage done to the first couple threads. Can't seem to find anywhere online what the actual thread size and pitch is. The Prop nut# is 64075A1...

    Merc 9.8 110 no power in gear under load

    Hi all, I've got a 1973 Merc 9.8 110 series. Last year I got it from a friend after 20 years of storage. Cleaned the carb, replaced gear oil, new plugs, the wires were all corroded so I replaced all wires in system with new wires, same gauge, brand new tank and fuel line, new impeller. Worked...
