    1979 Evinrude starter replacement

    I have removed the bolts on the solenoid side but I cannot get to the bolt on the side opposite of the solenoid as there is a black box in the way which has choke settings on it. I believe this is the carburetor silencer. Does anyone know how to remove this? Also, can anyone recommend a...
