    a little backround!

    This is a 2000 9.9 -4 stroke Nissan very clean but it was paired up with a set of Johnson remote controls. all the wiring seams to be right but once started there is no way to turn off the engine! The elect. prints show that grounding the brown wire either from the key switch or the emergency...

    Motor will not turn off with key switch or emergency tether switch? electric dia. shows that brown wire to CD unit grounded should turn off engine

    When key is turned off or tether is pulled from Emergency Stop switch the engine keeps running! Note this is a new boat and motor to Me!
