I'd check the fuel pressure in the rail and pay attention to the gauge as the RPM is increased with the engine under a load...

I would say a lot depends on your budget and 'wants'. Going brand new will get your the full warranty but also introduce you to the EPA...

You are likely to be better off building your own for 'smaller' vessels...that way you can readily tailor certain jobs to running hours...

If you haven't changed the packing before, it is ALWAYS best to measure the box and the shaft to determine the packing required...

Follow the instructions with the isolator if you really want to install it... I'd suggest an ACR vs the isolator...
