Anyone know who the manufacture is of the connectors used on the coils? I was going to make a testing fixture but can't find the connectors. The only information on them is PD2.

We have a Mercury 4HP motor with a bad bearing carrier. We found one with a part number of 825119T01 but it is not the same one as the one we found in the lower unit.
Can some one help us find the correct part?

It's a 1997 Model 1997 75ELPT Serial Number OE251480 Force 75 HP. It starts fine when warm but when cold very difficult to start. Yesterday after several failed attempts to start it my brother placed his hand over the carburetor throat and it started right up!! After it warmed up no problem...
My buddy's 1994 Evinrude 90HP remote control doesn't have any markings or numbers on it. It is supposedly the remote that originally came with the motor. Is there an exploded parts diagram of the remote that was supposed to come with this motor somewhere?
Thanks,
Bill
I finally determined the difference between a Alternator Driven CD Ignition and one that requires a battery. This is why I got confused as my past motors (Chrysler) had the battery powered Magnapower systems.
Thanks guys for the information.

If the stator supplies the voltage required to fire the coils why is 12vdc required at the power pack? It comes from the M terminal on the key switch. Maybe I missed something along the way.

There is a black/yellow wire from the Power pack all the way back to the ignition switch. Supposed to be the Kill Circuit?
If so what wire on the Power Pack is supposed to be getting 12vdc? Kinda confusing!!
Thanks guys,
Bill
This Tilt Trim assembly Part Number 0438135 may work on my Johnson 50ES71 Hydro-Electric shift outboard with some work. A suitable mounting bracket would have to be fabricated and attached to the boat.
What do you guys think?
Would have to find a good used one that didn't cost more than the...
Today I noticed if I go from neutral to reverse and turn the prop by hand counterclockwise it feels like a spring is wound up and then I hear kinda of a snap. It then turns fine and forward works well.
Is this normal.

What are the options for replacing the black plastic carburetor bowl on a Evinrude E90TLERC 90HP? I've heard there is a stainless one out there but you have to change the jets to?? Also heard the cast bowls are not deep enough for the floats to work properly??
Don't know what to think now...
My buddy's Evinrude E90TLERC 90HP motor's carburetor doesn't appear to have any adjustments other than the throttle adjustment. I looked at the diagram and didn't see any adjusting needles only fixed High Speed jets.
Is this correct?
