    Engine spits and stutters after an hour or so of running

    I have a 99 stingray with a v6 mercruiser in it. It had the same problem last year and the mechanic said he fixed it...he lied. It runs great for an hour to an hour and a half but then it hits a wall. It will spit and sputter and even shut off sometimes. If I cut it off for just a few minutes...
