    Weird Humming/Moaning Noise Tohatsu 4 hp

    My 2008 Tohatsu 4 hp 4 stroke outboard makes a weird humming or moaning sound, occasionally. Comes on, several minutes, then disappears. The noise doesn't change frequency with motor RPM. I think it is some harmonic vibration. Taking the engine out of gear does not stop the sound. Killing...
