    Tach/Trim problem 85 Evinrude 150

    I had an intermittent tach problem and tested the regulator/rectifier and found it bad. New rectifier is on and the tach appears to be working ok accept when I trim the motor up or down then the tach will show a decreasing reading. I am not locating a bad ground or a short. Any suggestions?

    150 VRO WOT stall problem

    I have a 1985-6 150hp VRO. I can run WOT for 4-6 seconds then it loses RPMs like I'm shutting off the gas, it will continue to run at idle usually or may stall and then start up again.
