    Replacing steering cable Evinrude 70HP outboard.

    I am replacing the steering cable on my 70hp evinrude 2 stroke outboard. Part number on the original cable is SSC7211, I am having a hard time finding that exact cable. Does anyone know of a cable that would fit the same steering column? Thanks -Jeremy

    using a VRO as a fuel pump

    I have a 1991 evinrude 70HP 2 stroke outboard. I have disconnected and capped the oil line for the oil injection. Do I need to do anything to the fuel pump? Or will it run fine on pre mix as is with the oil line disconnected and capped?
