    ANYONE have this issue with a 90 -115 hp? Looking for a root cause for this issue?? Authorized Yamaha repair places (4 in total) have no clue for the cause. Seems high crank case pressure at near WOT, but why??. Any ideas/assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Are you planning to take this in or repair yourself? I would like to know the cause??? The fix seems a bit hookie to me and not long term. I may write Yamaha a letter for action. Thought here

    I agree. I am in MT and the local boat facility has not seen this before. I can tell u the old seal will not work as we tried that. At WOT it blew again. Pls let’s stay in touch as to the real long term fix. Thxs. John

    THANKS for the suggestion. The ring I thought was 225hp and above from what I read.

    Montana USA. Local authorized Yamaha dealer is contacting the Rep. Maybe I should as well??? Hope they go to bat for me.

    BUMMED. 3 months out of warranty and only 130 hours and my oil crankshaft seal blew out. I see one older post on this issue. - nothing recent Anyone tell me what they did or the dealer did to fix this Yamaha issue? New to this group and THANKS in advance.
