    Clean out the trash while you are in there. I suggest a 500 GPM bilge pump. Two of them to make sure it empties the bilge quickly.

    fuel line may be collapsing internally. check feed line from the tank and any other lines.

    Check for spark wire leakage in the dark. If you don't see any mist clean water on each wire and watch for it. Is the carb linkage worn out?

    ck for spark when it boggs down. Run it off a separate fresh fuel supply to see if it runs better

    Ground the sending wire and see if the gauge moves to full. if it does the sending wire is the culprit. If not then it is a faulty gauge. Always check both ends of the wire for corrosion and continuity w/an ohm meter.

    Replacing powerhead on 90LTR 2 stroke Yamaha

    The first 10 hours keep the RPMs under 2500 w/occasional increases as stated above. Then just drive it normally but not wide-open throttle a lot for the next 10 hrs. Then just use it as you would. I would also idle it for 5-10 minutes after a long run before turning it off.

    Used alcohol-based 90/10 fuel? Did not fog cylinders at storage? Go to a dealer and talk to a technician.
