I have a 99 15 horse, the shaft extension hits a bushing or something about 3 inches below the powerhead. Is this a bushing I could punch out or do I have to remove the powerhead and drill it out?
Hopefully someone has done this and knows the answer.
Thanks, Mike
I have a 1999 15 horse long shaft. Is there an extension and what not to make it an extra long shaft? With my swim platform if I do some different mount it wouldput the motor way way out of reach. Thanks for any ideas, Mike
It looks like an elephant ear Volvo prop. It has three sets of numbers on the outside of the hub, 597, 739, and 593. Under the prop nut is 032013 , no other numbers any where.
I can measure the diameter but it would be nice to know the pitch.
Mine has the two allen heads. They came out easily. I was able to move it about five degrees one way then ten the other and now it doesn't want to move any. What is the secret? A clear photo of the bushing would help but I haven't found any.
I've tried searching but no joy. I need the numbers for a 280 drive. Bearing crosses, drive bellows, the 90 degree elbow and beaded gasket, and the orings I will need. PLEASE help Ricardo !!!
Looking for an intake gasket for my AQ 225 and they want the VP part # it's not listed by application.
Do I just get one for a mid 80s 305 or is it a different one for a raw water cooled engine? A VP# or a Fel Pro# would be great. Thanks

After running on the muffs at home I happened to check the oil...

"The gasket on mine is leaking and the nipple is corroded. The picture of the Sierra connector, part #18-2778 looks like it would be sandwiched between the drive and a cover plate with two gaskets.
I found a Mallory one, part #9-44003 that looks right.
