    stuck open thermostat

    E200TXETF ocean pro. Replaced thermostats due to age. Found the one on the left bank stuck in the open position. Would this cause the engine to run poorly? Thanks for any and all input

    1990 200 Ocean Pro

    Motor will fire up and idle fine. Give it throttle and it response is normal. When you try to get on plane it struggles and will max out at 3100 rpm's. Therefore it never gets on plane. You back it down to idle it is fine. You try to get on plane it does the same thing. Any thoughts?
