    Any suggestions on the best guages for the $ for a 27 chaparral 1998 single 5.7.. Looked online at a few.. Most guage sets said for inboard, I have i/o... The faria guages in white looked nice. My speedo sticks, tach waivers and my mechanic said my volt guage may be defective...

    1998 5.7 mpi 300 hp belt alignment issues, shredded belt

    My serpintine belt shredded the outer edge yesterday... Put on a new belt and noticed the seawater pulley and alt. pulley were out of alignment... Started up the boat and put up to about 1500 rpm and the belt started to jump.(just bought the boat this year and fixing all the sellers...
