    Carburetor ID

    I have a 1983 Mercury 50hp 2 stroke and it acts as though it's starving for fuel in the midrange rpm, I was going to get some carb kits and rebuild them but I can't seem to identify if I have Tillotson or Walbro carbs. Does anyone know how to id them? Thanks for the input.

    Need help with a Mariner serial number

    I have an outboard that has Mariner 75 on the engine cover and I have a serial number plate that doesn't look like any that I have seen online. It only has a serial number and Mercury Marine on it with no other info. All of my searching I haven't been able to find anything on the serial number...
