    gamefisher 7.5 h.p. dies when put into gear.

    I've got a 7.5 h.p. gamefisher outboard motor that starts up within a couple pulls, idles good but as soon as I put it into gear it dies ......... what could be causing this?

    motor runs good but only with choke on
