    Trouble finding carb kit

    I need a carb kit for my 2002 I need a carb kit for my 2002 4.3 mercruiser. The carb has a sticker on the front that has SAE J1223 MARINE. On the side two numbers top 807764N the bottom number has a bad stamp and hard to read 18 16?4. any help would be appreciated

    Popping sound coming from engine at full throttle

    "I have a 4.3L. Took it out to "I have a 4.3L. Took it out today, started good, turning around 4600 rpm. Had to back down on the throttle and when I got back in to it, the engine would not get over 3400rpm and had a popping sound coming out of it. Any ideas what would cause this?"
