    9.9hp Yamaha 2 Stroke de-restrciting

    I have recently acquired a 9.9hp 2005 Yamaha 2 stroke. I have been informed it is relatively easy to de-restrict to achieve the performance of the 15hp 2 stroke. Is there a good guide somewhere on what to do? Also is it something that would be recommended by anyone who has experience in doing it?

    1999 5hp 2 Stroke upgrade?

    I have seen it is possible to upgrade the 6hp 2 stroke to 8hp, is it possible with a 1999 5hp 2 Stroke?

    Will not run on fuel lines (1999 Yamaha 5hp 2 Stroke)

    I have recently bought a boat which came with a 1999 Yamaha 5hp 2 Stroke outboard and when I connect the fuel line from the auxiliary tank it kills the engine. The strange thing is it appears not to be starving the engine of fuel but flooding it instead. I can start the engine and it runs fine...
