    2006 mercury 150 2 stroke outbard rpm pulling back at crusing speed

    Hi, my 2006 150hp 2 stroke outboard is reducing the rpm when i try to go cursing or full throttle, the audible alarm system is bypassed so I cannot see where the problem is. The cooling looks fine and the 2 stroke tank on the engine is full. Any ideas what the engine is protecting itself from?

    2006 250 hp outboad alarm

    "Hi Guys, i just bought a boat with twin 250, 2 stoke around 2006/7 outboards but whilst they are running at sal 1000rp i am getting an alarm like when i first star them up. the port enging is running a little hotter than the other, could this have anything to do with it?? any help...
