    Ok when I start my outboard it starts right up on the first pull and idles great but as soon as I put it in reverse or forward it cuts off why? Please help

    Need help with vibration

    Ok the other day I went out in the waterway drifting for flounder and while im in idle or going verrrry slow my motor vibrates pretty bad and the fishing poles are shaking real bad is there anything I can do to fix this problem? 1994 8hp mercury 14 ft jon boat

    Where to flush out my motor?

    Ok I took my boat out today in saltwater I got home and I can not find where to put the ear muffs at there are not vents in the lower unit to flush out the motor anybody know? Its a 1994 8 hp mercury 0g095470 please help lol

    8 HP Mercury what year??

    Hi I bought a used jon boat today it came with a 8 HP mercury the guy said he was pretty sure it was a 1992 but when I search on the mercury chart I cant find my serial number. If someone could please help me out I would appreciate it. the serial number is 0g095470 Thanks!
