    Ayuh,.... You could, but it'll be the wrong gear ratio,...... Where's the original drive,..?? it can be repaired,...... Otherwise, you need a drive that matches the old drive, or another option is SEI sells a conversion kit to mount an Alpha 1 Merc drive,....
