    1981 Mariner 40hp question.

    I have a disabled veteran whos boats motors lower case cracked and lost a chunk of the case near the prop. trouble is we dont know much about the motor to find a replacement. we have found a 89 entire lower end but the person doesnt know which motor it came from except that is was a 40hp mariner...
